When I took up sewing a few years ago, my mother passed this baby quilt pattern on to me. She made one for my son and has made many for the babies in our family. I fell in love with the texture and the style. I am not a traditional quilter, but this was one I longed to make! In 2010, I decided to make my first quilt and delighted in picking out fabric for a baby girl. In 2011 I became pregnant and gave birth to my daughter, Sylvie. In October of 2011, Baby Blossoms was born. I love designing a quilt for baby that reflects the parent's personality and style.
The quilt is made up of 90 individual stuffed squares. When baby is on her tummy, she loves to grab the squares and enjoys looking at the vibrant patterns. Baby Blossoms provides a soft surface to lay on and is sewn to fit perfectly inside of a crib for play time. The quilt also gives baby great traction to push off of with bare feet. I hope to make one for your baby soon!
